University Exam - Photography
Among the Masai of Kenya, it is forbidden to
wake someone who is sleeping: this is to prevent
the wandering soul from dreams from failing to
return to the sleeper's body.

6 is a photographic project collected in a unique, hand-bound dummy book.
The aim of the brief was to capture a particular place, whether physical, digital, or abstract, through photography.
In 6, dreams are explored as physical and liminal places, as creators of alternative realities.
The title 6 refers to the 6 years that human beings spend, on average, dreaming during the course of their lives.
By imagining the events of dreams and dreams themselves as physical realities, it is possible to understand the relevance of these 6 years in our lives.
The photographic work focuses on capturing sleeping, dreaming people, to capture that fragment of ourselves that keeps us anchored to our bodies during dreams.
A second part will represent personal dreams that have actually been experienced, after noting them down, and recounted through different visual languages.
